Last spring, a media team from UIUC’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences spent some time at Skeuomorph, documenting a class workshop and interviewing our director, Prof. Ryan Cordell, and Aaron Mukhopadhyay, the English undergraduate student who founded the Skeuomorphics club. The result is a story in The Quadrangle, LAS’ semesterly magazine, and the gorgeous video below.
We are of course biases, but the video is truly stunning. It captures the beauty of the historical materials we work with at Skeuomorph, but most importantly it reflects our most ambitious hopes for the press: to be a catalyst for novel research and teaching, but also to foster space for reflection and contemplation.
